UFO Gaming Acquires Esports Team — Top Dogs
UFO Gaming, alongside Horizon Union, acquired the esports team Top Dogs, rebranded as Horizon, which has players who formerly competed for G2 esports
UFO Gaming is excited to announce that we are embracing the esports scene even further by acquiring an esports team with Horizon Union.
Along with developing our own ecosystem, UFO Gaming is focused on having a robust esports presence in some of the most popular titles to date by 2022, in partnership with partners such as Horizon Union. We are intent on recognizing and supporting grassroots competitive potential while also establishing a presence in the esports industry.
UFO Gaming and Horizon Union have acquired the esport team “Top Dogs,” with players previously playing for eSport giant G2 esports.
Top Dogs, rebranded as Horizon and powered by UFO Gaming, will compete in the ALGS playoffs on 22 January 2022, after qualification in the ALGS Split 1 League in December 2021.
UFO Gaming and Horizon Union’s decision to attend APEX demonstrates our dedication to joining the esports space. Both organizations will use the partnership to build brand affinity in the gaming space, emphasizing esports.
The rebranded esport team — Horizon — will participate in the highest level of competitive APEX, the APEX Legends Global Series (ALGS) competition, with players Ruabbe, Mimu, and ZeroNothing. They have previously played for G2 Esports, Obey Alliance, and ENCE.
